Full Job Description
Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for a Staff Health and Safety Specialist to join our team on a full-time, direct basis and contribute to our EHS (Environmental, Health, & Safety) operations in the Boston, MA area.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate PHAs (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA) at petroleum and chemical facilities.
  • Identify process hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and assist with PSM/RMP Compliance Audits.
  • Review P&IDs, safety protocols, operating procedures, etc.
  • Prepare clear, actionable reports for clients.


Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, EHS, Safety Management, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply!


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in process safety, EHS, or petroleum operations.
  • Strong knowledge of the PSM rule (29 CFR 1910.119) and the RMP rule (40 CFR 68).
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and technical writing skills.
    Willingness to travel.
  • PE, CSP, or CCPS certification a plus.
