Full Job Description
The Role

We are hiring a Head of Technology Partnerships to build the external relationships that make the Telnyx platform stronger, faster, and harder to replicate. This role reports to the CEO and Head of Product and is based in San Francisco or New York City.

This is not a partner marketing role and it is not a channel sales role. You will work directly with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Sales, and executive leadership to identify the technology companies Telnyx should work with, define what the partnership should actually unlock, negotiate it, and get it into production.

The scope is broad by design. One week you may be working with a GPU or semiconductor partner on capacity and roadmap access. The next you may be structuring a relationship with a model provider, cloud platform, carrier, network operator, data center, AI framework, or enterprise technology platform. The job is to find the relationships where combining Telnyx infrastructure with another company's technology creates a material advantage for customers or for Telnyx.

The best partnerships here should produce something tangible: better economics, lower latency, new product capability, preferred access to capacity, deeper product integration, distribution, or revenue.
Responsibilities
  • Own Telnyx's technology partnership strategy across AI infrastructure, model providers, hardware, cloud, networking, telecom, data center, developer platforms, and adjacent ecosystems.
  • Identify and prioritize a small number of partnerships where Telnyx can create a differentiated technical or commercial position.
  • Build senior relationships with partners across product, engineering, business development, and executive teams.
  • Translate partnership ideas into concrete technical and commercial plans with clear owners, milestones, economics, and success metrics.
  • Work directly with Telnyx Product and Engineering teams to scope integrations, joint product capabilities, capacity agreements, and roadmap dependencies.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, technical commitments, capacity, pricing, co-development, distribution, and go-to-market structures where relevant.
  • Drive partnerships from first conversation through signed agreement, integration, launch, and measurable adoption.
  • Create leverage for enterprise sales by turning strategic technology relationships into capabilities, reference architectures, and joint solutions that matter to customers.
  • Track the market aggressively. Know which model providers, inference stacks, GPU platforms, networking technologies, agent frameworks, and communications platforms are gaining traction and why.
  • Kill weak partnerships early. We care about shipped capability and economic value, not the number of logos on a slide.
What We Are Looking For
  • 10+ years in technology partnerships, business development, product strategy, infrastructure, enterprise technology, or a similarly technical role.
  • Strong technical fluency. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable discussing APIs, inference, GPUs, networking, telecom, cloud architecture, latency, capacity, and production integrations with engineering teams.
  • A track record of getting complex partnerships from idea to signed agreement and then into production.
  • Strong commercial judgment. You can model the value of a partnership, understand where leverage sits, and negotiate accordingly.
  • Ability to operate across very different counterparties, from hyperscalers and semiconductor companies to startups, carriers, and infrastructure providers.
  • Comfort working directly with senior executives while still going deep with product and engineering teams.
  • High ownership and low bureaucracy. You should be comfortable starting with an ambiguous objective and turning it into a shipped result.
  • Clear, concise communication. You can explain why a partnership matters in a page, not a deck of 40 slides.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, inference, telecommunications, networking, CPaaS, developer platforms, or edge compute.
  • Existing relationships with companies such as NVIDIA, AMD, cloud providers, model labs, AI infrastructure companies, carriers, data centers, or major developer platforms.
  • Experience negotiating capacity, compute, network, or infrastructure agreements in addition to traditional software partnerships.
  • Experience launching joint technical products or integrations with measurable usage and revenue.
  • Experience working in a high-growth company where the product and market are changing quickly.
Why This Role Matters

Telnyx owns more of the stack than most companies in our category. That gives us unusual flexibility, but it also means the right external technology relationships can compound quickly.

A strong partnership can improve our unit economics, accelerate a roadmap, secure scarce infrastructure, open a new distribution path, or create a product that neither company could offer alone. This role exists to find those opportunities and turn them into operating reality.

We are not looking for someone to manage an ecosystem. We are looking for someone to build strategic advantage through it.
