Join Our Team as Head of Strategic Sourcing NASA at Epiroc!

As the Head of Strategic Sourcing NASA, you will lead and develop sourcing teams across North and South America while driving sourcing excellence for a global aftermarket portfolio of heavy equipment products and components. This role is central to securing a resilient, sustainable, and competitive supplier base that supports Epiroc's mission to deliver high-quality products on time and at optimal total cost.

Work Type: Onsite - Garland, Texas Domestic and international travel required.

Shift Timings: Standard business hours, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. This role benefits from close collaboration and visible leadership. Therefore, a minimum of three days per week in the office is expected.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop sourcing teams in Garland, Canada, and Chile, ensuring alignment with PSD strategic priorities.
  • Serve as the primary sourcing point of contact for the Parts & Services Division NASA organization (PSN).
  • Balance global leverage with regional agility to capture synergies while meeting regional business needs.
  • Secure a resilient, sustainable, and competitive supplier base delivering on time, with required quality, and optimal total cost of ownership.
  • Advance regionalization strategies to support business growth and supply chain resilience.
  • Drive supplier compliance with Epiroc requirements and sustainability objectives, including CO2 reduction and SBTi adoption.
  • Reduce supply chain risks through supplier diversification and dual sourcing.
  • Support business growth through collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
  • Optimize total landed cost through effective category management and region-for-region sourcing.
  • Deliver sustainable COGS improvements through cross-functional collaboration and digitalization.
  • Build a high-performing organization through strong leadership, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation through supplier partnerships, digitalization, AI, and automation.
  • Contribute ~5% of time to leadership and development of Garland Hub.


Knowledge/Education:
  • University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven leadership experience in a global environment.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
