The Role

As Head of Product for Healix, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and commercial trajectory. You are the senior product voice in front of hospital executives, clinical leaders, and federal stakeholders - leading discovery, shaping partnerships, and driving the narrative that earns enterprise trust at the CIO/CMIO level.

This is a high-autonomy, externally-facing role. You will spend as much time in client rooms as you do in product reviews - building relationships with health system sponsors, leading structured discovery engagements, and translating what you learn into a roadmap that compounds over time. You will partner closely with GTM, engineering, clinical, and security teams, and will manage and grow a team of Product Managers. You will inherit a live hospital deployment, active enterprise discovery engagements, a growing portfolio of strategic partnerships, and a robust health-care grade AI platform.

What You'll Own

Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Own the product vision, product goals, success metrics, priorities, and product roadmap across Healix's portfolio
  • Define and prioritize what gets built, in what order, and why - balancing platform leverage against customer-specific configurations
  • Translate Deloitte's institutional access and client knowledge into defensible product bets

Client Discovery and Engagement
  • Lead and participate in structured discovery with hospital executives, clinical leaders, and operational stakeholders
  • Own the ongoing product relationship with existing clients - surfacing needs, managing expectations, and identifying expansion opportunities
  • Review PRDs that are tight, risk-aware, and engineering-ready
  • Design agentic workflows, SOP structures, and human-in-the-loop escalation patterns that hold up in production

Partnerships
  • Own the product side of strategic partnerships - defining integration scope, alignment on roadmap, and joint value framing
  • Serve as the primary product counterpart to external partners including health system vendors, integration partners, and innovation collaborators

Platform Thinking
  • Drive composable product design: shared modules, reusable agent primitives, schema-first data models
  • Own the capability decisions that let Healix scale from one use case to dozens without rebuilding
  • Set the bar for how AI-native products get specified, iterated, and governed

GTM and Commercial
  • Partner with GTM to shape positioning, packaging, and the pilot-to-permanent motion
  • Leads pricing structures, product outcome metrics, and value framing
  • Build and deliver the product narrative that earns enterprise trust at the executive level

Team
  • Set the strategic priorities that align product, discovery, and partnerships toward the same near-term bets
  • Establish PM practices and ways of working as the team scales
  • Mentor PMs and build a culture of ownership

About the team

Healix is an AI-native venture built inside Deloitte, creating a governed AI workflow layer that lifts the operational burden on hospital staff - without disrupting the systems they already rely on. Our platform sits across existing hospital infrastructure to deploy and scale AI-enabled workflows with standardized trust controls applied once, so hospitals can start with one use case and expand to many without restarting governance from scratch. The thesis is simple: do the work you already trust Deloitte with, just faster, smarter, and at scale.

We're backed by Deloitte, the world's largest professional services firm, which means we have real enterprise distribution, real health system access, and real institutional credibility from day one. That's not a small thing in healthcare - trust is the product, and we come pre-loaded with it.

We're also early enough that the person we hire here will define what Healix's product org looks like for the next decade. This isn't a point solution play. Healix is being built as the foundational AI operating layer for hospital operations - the platform every future AI-enabled workflow runs on top of, inheriting the same security, auditability, and human-oversight controls without multiplying IT burden or compliance risk.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

Must-haves
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years leading product in healthcare - ideally with direct experience inside hospitals, health systems, or clinical operations
  • Have built and led B2B SaaS platform product with demonstratable revenue
  • Strong judgement in using AI to improve spec quality-not just speed: validating assumptions, stress-testing flows, identifying failure modes, and surfacing risk before build
  • Hands-on familiarity with how hospitals actually work: clinical workflows, care team dynamics, operational pressures, and institutional decision-making; background in emergency medicine, hospital operations, or patient flow is a strong asset
  • Proven track record as a client-facing product leader - comfortable leading discovery sessions, building exec-level relationships, and translating clinical context into product decisions
  • Experience managing the product side of partnerships - scoping integrations, aligning roadmaps, and sustaining relationships over time
  • Track record of taking products from pilot to enterprise contract, including commercial model design and procurement navigation in capital-constrained environments
  • Experience leading product managers and building product practices at scale

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with AI/ML products in clinical settings, including model governance and clinical safety review
  • Experience coaching PMs on responsible AI usage in spec creation, including where AI is helpful vs. where human judgement must dominate
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance and security frameworks - PHIPA, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001
  • Prior experience scaling a product team inside a venture studio, foundry, or incubator model
