Full Job Description
The Head of International Tax will lead the Company's global international tax strategy, transfer pricing program, and U.S. international tax compliance activities. This high-impact role partners with Finance, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and global business leaders to identify tax planning opportunities, manage international tax risks, and support strategic business initiatives.

As a trusted advisor to the Head of Global Tax and key stakeholders, this leader will provide guidance on transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, supply chain planning, tax accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. The successful candidate will lead internal tax resources and external advisors while driving operational excellence across the global tax function.

  • Support the Head of Global Tax in developing and executing international tax strategies designed to optimize the Company's global effective tax rate and cash tax position.
  • Provide strategic tax guidance on cross-border transactions, business restructurings, supply chain initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic transactions.
  • Monitor emerging international tax developments, including BEPS, Pillar Two, and other global tax reforms, and evaluate their potential impact on the Company.
  • Lead the Company's global transfer pricing strategy, including the development of policies, planning initiatives, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Oversee transfer pricing activities across global distribution and operating structures, coordinating with external advisors and local-country finance teams.
  • Support transfer pricing audits, tax authority inquiries, and the defense of the Company's transfer pricing positions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for U.S. international tax reporting requirements and oversee the preparation and review of complex international tax filings, including Forms 5471 and foreign tax credit calculations.
  • Support federal income tax compliance activities related to international operations and ensure adherence to global tax reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Company's global Pillar Two tax compliance processes with support from internal teams and external advisors.
  • Support quarterly and annual income tax provision processes by addressing international tax matters and analyzing accounting implications under ASC 740.
  • Assist with effective tax rate forecasting, tax cash flow modeling, and the accurate financial reporting of international tax positions in partnership with Corporate Accounting and Tax Accounting and Compliance.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 10+ years of progressive international tax experience, preferably in a multinational corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong expertise in transfer pricing, U.S. international tax compliance, foreign tax credits, ASC 740 tax accounting, supply chain and international tax planning, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Preferred qualifications include a CPA, MST, JD/LL.M., or other advanced tax credential; a combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience; familiarity with SAP, Hyperion, OneSource Tax Provision, or OneSource Compliance; exposure to VAT and indirect taxes; and experience supporting operations across multiple jurisdictions, particularly Switzerland and China.
  • Lead and develop international tax professionals while managing relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and global business leaders to support strategic objectives and promote accountability, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and tax technology adoption.
