What We NeedWe are seeking an execution-oriented, tech-forward Senior Manager / Director of Business Operations & AI to serve as a key operational partner to the executive team. In this role, you will manage internal operating rhythms, lead critical cross-functional initiatives, and drive the adoption of modern AI tooling and automated workflows across our business operations.
You do not need a traditional finance or accounting background. We are looking for a systems thinker, an exceptional project leader, and a hands-on builder who can turn executive priorities into structured, measurable operational momentum.
What You'll DoAI Adoption & Workflow Modernization- Identify, evaluate, and assist with deploying practical AI workflows to eliminate manual toil and increase team output in partnership with the AI team.
- Champion practical AI enablement within the Finance team.
- Continuously audit internal processes to uncover automation and modernization opportunities.
Management Operating System & Cadence- Own and refine the operational operating cadence (e.g., quarterly planning milestones, OKR/KPI tracking, executive dashboards, and strategic reviews).
- Build and maintain clean reporting mechanisms that provide ongoing visibility into key initiatives and operational health.
- Ensure executive action items, cross-departmental commitments, and decision logs are systematically tracked and closed out.
What You Bring- Senior Manager level: 7+ years in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Consulting
- Director level: 10+ years with a demonstrated track record of leading major cross-functional transformations and operating cadences.
- Industry Context: Background in B2B software, SaaS, or high-growth technology organizations preferred.
- AI & Tech Savvy: Active power-user familiarity with modern AI platforms, workflow orchestration, and modern productivity tooling.
- Execution & Structure: Proven capability to establish project governance, track complex deliverables, and build structured operating systems from scratch.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong executive presence, clear communication, and the ability to influence cross-functional peers without direct line authority.
- Work Arrangement: Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site at our Burlington, MA office.
- Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
- Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

For this role, the estimated base is $150,000 - $190,000 + Bonus. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
