Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establish and communicate financial objectives for the business while leading a staff of Finance/Accounting professionals to meet divisions, BUs, BG and corporate goals.
  • Oversight of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and weekly business updates, incorporating but not limited to: Revenue, Cost, Gross Margin, Operating Expense, Operating Income, Headcount, Capital, Inventory and Cashflow.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the accounting close cycle with respect to division, BU & BG's reporting of revenue, cost, gross margin, operating expense, inventory, capex, etc.
  • Develop and implement performance and operating metrics and utilizing data, experience, business acumen and leadership skills intended to optimize short-, medium- and long-term financial outcomes.
  • Focus actions on profitable growth for BUs & BG, including but not limited to business financial modeling, investment & ROI analyses and operating KPIs monitoring.
  • Regular interpretation and presentation of business performance to effectively convey and influence favorable outcomes across multiple levels within the organization, including the executive level.
  • Review and approval of contracts with respect to accuracy, acceptable financial terms and conditions, proposing changes as warranted, approval/signature, execution, implementation and post contract performance monitoring.
  • Encourage cross-collaboration with Corporate including pre-reviewing technical accounting issues before quarter end close.
  • Coach team in order to effectively perform both recurring and ad-hoc analyses, measures functional performance, aids in decisions support and promotes positive ROI for the BG.
  • Develop business partnerships with BU leaders, functional leaders, corporate counterparts and surrounding business stakeholders.
  • Follow all internal controls, regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, security standards in accordance with government agencies, including but not limited to GAAP, IAS and ensures that the company's financial position remains legal at all times.
  • Supports new ERP implementation.


Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage geographically dispersed team of 10 individuals through direct reports.
  • Motivate, mentor and grow a successful global team of professionals.
  • Promote a philosophy of Continuous Improvement and Speed and Agility while maintaining a culture of accountability, including the construction of clear employee and organizational objectives, regular follow-up and developing team members in support of CFO Organization objectives.
  • Conduct accurate and timely assessment of subordinates through provision of regular performance feedback and annual reviews.


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, Economics with proven experience operating as a Finance/Accounting Executive, including multiple Controllerships or Directorships, involving a career path clearly demonstrating positions of progressive responsibility.
  • Experience clearly demonstrates candidate's direct involvement with respect to establishing financial direction for a self-contained BU, division, unit or comparable organization, with specific experience involving multi-BU, multi-product P&Ls, Balance Sheet oversight and Cashflow management.
  • Minimum of 20 years in management preferably in a high-tech environment with experience in financial and cost accounting, intercompany transactions, logistics/supply chain, sales and SOX compliance.
  • Superior knowledge of cost accounting and standard costing systems
