Each day begins with a strategic review of supplier performance using globally standardized metrics, focusing on the most critical suppliers. You'll then lead weekly Supplier Production Meetings together with your team to assess delivery recovery plans, ensure alignment with internal expectations and provide an escalation path when necessary. Your day concludes with preparing a comprehensive status update for the Head of BV Operations Procurement, summarizing key supply chain issues and outlining actionable solutions.s
How You'll Make an Impact- Oversee and manage a BV Operational Procurement ORL team of supply chain management specialists across multiple frames and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to internal customers.
- Support Siemens Energy's growth plan by stringently executing contracts, actively following up on capacity expansion initiatives, and optimizing logistics to ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key supplier representatives, such as General Managers, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration, while driving escalations with suppliers when necessary to resolve issues.
- Build and develop a high-performing, inter-cultural operational procurement team that takes ownership of the supply chain, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in procurement practices.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement team to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor and analyze procurement metrics and supplier performance, providing regular updates and reports to senior management to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
What You Bring- Proven leadership experience in managing a procurement team, overseeing supply chain specialists across multiple product frames and suppliers.
- Strong track record in executing contract management, capacity expansion initiatives, logistics optimization, and ensuring on-time delivery performance.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, including effectively managing escalations and implementing performance improvement plans.
- A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that fosters accountability, ownership, and high performance within the team.
- Experience in implementing global procurement processes and performance KPIs in alignment with central and cross-functional teams to drive organizational success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and make data-driven decisions to enhance procurement operations.
