Job DescriptionHII Mission Technologies is seeking a Software/Hardware Engineer to aid in Manufacturing, Testing, and Delivery of numerous Part Task Trainers for the U.S. Navy. The candidate will aid in, and provide oversght for, the day-to-day manufacturing process of the HAR and OK-410 Part Task Trainers to support the Naval Station Great Lakes A-School. These are complex trainers utilized in the education of sailors prior to deploying shipboard. This is a multidisciplinary opportunity for someone who wants experience across different areas.

- Aids in the manufacturing of production units by wiring components, testing connectivity, installing equipment, installing software, and testing deliverable end items
Minimum Qualifications- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
- SECRET Security Clearance with the US government is required at hire
Preferred Requirements- CAD experience (Solidworks)or similar program
- Experience soldering, stripping wires, and crimping pins
- Strong ability to read/understand schematics and wiring diagrams
- PCB level troubleshooting and repair capabilities
Physical Requirements- Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
