Full Job Description
Opportunity OverviewAs a Hardware Engineer, you will be tasked to perform key responsibilities in production test and hardware debug, manufacturing test development, perform yield, quality, and process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will be specializing in test engineering to support both new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing manufacturing operations. This role involves hands-on testing, hardware debugging, developing test strategies, improving production processes, and collaborating closely with Design, Software Engineering, and Contract Manufacturers (CMs).

  • Production Test & Hardware Debug - Perform testing and troubleshoot analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits down to the component level. Review engineering documentation, including schematics, drawings, and test procedures. Use electrical test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and logic analyzers. Provide data-driven feedback to engineering teams.
  • Manufacturing Test Development - Define and implement test strategies for new products. Support and optimize test processes at CMs. Provide Design-for-Test (DFT) recommendations. Develop test station procedures and maintenance schedules.
  • Yield, Quality, and Process Improvement - Analyze test yields and perform failure analysis. Prepare pareto charts, yield trends, and summaries. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with internal design teams and external manufacturing partners. Provide training and support for manufacturing test stations. Communicate effectively on issues, risks, and progress.

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $122,500-$196,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
