Responsibilities

  • Manage hardware-related tickets in ServiceNow, NLYTE, and JIRA
  • Plan hardware project phases including scheduling and budgeting
  • Conduct engineering reviews for deployment packages
  • Collaborate with systems engineering on hardware documentation
  • Complete documentation for shipping approvals
  • Perform maintenance and sustain equipment as needed
  • Organize hardware installations at multiple sites
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems and coordinate with various teams

Basic Requirements:
  • 14 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
    • 5 additional years of experience as a Hardware Engineer may be substituted for a degree

Job Description:
  • Manage hardware-related ServiceNow (SNOW), NLYTE, and JIRA tickets and provide regular updates to the customer
  • Plan all phases of hardware projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and maturing technical performance parameters
  • Perform engineering reviews of deployment packages submitted by customers to identify and resolve inconsistencies
  • Work closely with the systems engineering team to develop and validate hardware drawing packages
  • Complete documentation to obtain approvals for shipping equipment to pre-staging areas and keep stakeholders informed (e.g., MDATs, TOEs)
  • Perform immediate changes, maintenance, sustainment, and replacement of failed hardware (Break/Fix support)
  • Organize and lead hardware installations across multiple operational sites
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with multiple organizations while on TDY assignments as required
