Full Job Description
Meet the team:

We are seeking a Medical Interoperability Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to support verification and validation (V&V) of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems interoperating with Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) / insulin pump hardware.

Where you come in:

You will focus on hands-on system and integration testing, ensuring reliable, safe, and compliant data exchange and behavior across CGMs, insulin pumps, controllers, and supporting software. The ideal candidate has experience testing connected medical devices, understands regulated development environments, and is motivated to grow into deeper system-level ownership.
  • You will execute system-level verification testing for CGM interoperability with insulin pumps and AID systems.
  • You will perform testing across physical hardware, simulators, and test tools.
  • You will author and execute test protocols, test cases, and reports for CGM-pump interoperability features.
  • You will develop and maintain test coverage for scenarios such as: Data latency and loss, Sensor dropouts, Communication interruptions, Reconnection and recovery behavior.
  • You will contribute to regression testing for firmware, mobile, and system changes.
  • You will test and troubleshoot Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between CGM and pump hardware.
  • You will assist in root-cause analysis of interoperability defects across firmware, hardware, and system interfaces.
  • You will execute verification activities aligned with FDA medical device quality system requirements.
  • You will ensure accurate documentation and traceability between requirements and test results.
  • You will support integration efforts with internal teams and external device partners as needed


What makes you successful:
  • You have experience executing structured test protocols and documenting results.
  • You have basic experience with BLE or device-to-device communication testing.
  • You have experience with system-level testing of CGM systems, insulin pumps, or AID-related components.
  • You are familiar with medical device risk management concepts. Medical Device Verification & Validation, Test Case Development & Execution, Defect Tracking & Root-Cause Support, Regulated Documentation Practices.
