Key job responsibilities
AWS Hardware Engineering is looking for a customer-obsessed, team-driven technology leader to take our engineering of server hardware to the next level. As a Senior Hardware Development Engineer on the AWS Board Core Design team within the Core Components Organization, you will develop the building blocks for our next-generation servers. You will be responsible for the hardware design, development, and maintenance of the hardware component circuit boards that build up the AWS servers. You will work on next generation technology, across multiple domains, including high speed interconnects, multi-core performant processors, and high-capacity multi-channel memory. You will directly contribute to the success of the EC2 servers by owning the component board from architecture, development, validation and operations. About the team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- 2+ years of new hardware products development experience
- 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in server hardware design and validation
- Experience in managing ODM relationships and driving technical programs
- Experience in developing and implementing validation test plans
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with ODM partners
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
