Torch Technologies is seeking a HAMM-ER Operations Analyst/Program Manager to join a team to develop, integrate, and transition weapon systems to meet Army operational needs. This position supports the High-volume Affordable Mass Munitions - Extended Range (HAMM-ER) Product Office, part of the Advanced Fires Project Office (AFPO) within Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires.
As a HAMM-ER Operations Analyst/Program Manager your duties will include the following, but are not limited to the following:
development, integration, and transition of weapon systems to meet Army operational needs. The analyst will assist leadership in managing taskers, coordinating staff actions, tracking operational priorities, and enabling efficient program execution. The successful candidate will serve the interface between AFPO and HAMM-ER operations, ensuring actions are tracked to closure, information is synchronized, and leadership is prepared with timely and accurate updates. This role requires a blend of organizational, technical, analytical, and communication skills to support a dynamic, high-visibility Army program office.
Position Duties:
• Track and manage operational tasks and actions using the Army Task Management Tool (ETMS2), SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook calendars, and other Army-approved systems.
• Support HAMM-ER leadership by preparing tasker responses, staff packages, read-ahead materials, and internal/external correspondence.
• Attend and document program staff calls, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, and working groups; conduct conference room deconfliction; develop and maintain action item trackers, notes, and after-action reports.
• Assist in coordinating schedules, events, and engagements for product office leadership, ensuring operational priorities are aligned.
• Analyze operational processes and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, coordination, and reporting.
• Consolidate inputs from product teams for recurring reports, white papers, and leadership briefings.
• Support information flow between AFPO and higher/lateral headquarters, ensuring timely responses to external taskers and requests for information.
• Contribute to maintaining internal SOPs, trackers, and operational processes to enable consistent execution.
• Provide surge support to special projects requiring cross-team coordination.
Required Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field or Equivalent experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in program analysis, operations, or defense acquisition support.
• Active U.S. DoW Secret clearance
• Experience working with the U.S. Army or DoD program/project offices.
• Proficiency with task management tools e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Ability to tailor skillset to support leadership in the most efficient way for the team.
• Ability to track multiple efforts, maintain a general understanding of each program, and provide initial input for taskers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and provides input into taskers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a current driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in an Army Headquarters or PAE/PEO.
• Familiarity with Army staff processes and task management systems - ETMS2 preferred.
• Experience consolidating input and preparing products for senior DoD or Army leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support process improvement.
• Ability to operate with initiative and minimal guidance while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to utilize emerging software to assist in task management.
