Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Systems Analyst to support the analysis, design, and delivery of Guidewire InsuranceSuite solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Guidewire expertise, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience translating business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions while collaborating with Agile delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational processes and identify solution opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Participate in system design sessions and ensure alignment with solution architecture and business objectives.
• Lead backlog refinement, technical grooming, and requirements clarification sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of Guidewire solutions.
• Create and maintain process flows, use cases, functional specifications, data mappings, and system documentation.
• Analyze system integrations and identify dependencies across Guidewire and external platforms.
• Support test planning, test case reviews, defect triage, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
• Provide guidance on Guidewire platform capabilities, best practices, and solution design recommendations.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support ongoing platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or a related role.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance business processes.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter is preferred.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Experience supporting system design, solution modeling, and technical refinement activities.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong skills in backlog refinement, user story development, and requirements management.
• Experience creating process flows, data mappings, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
• Active Guidewire certification(s).
• Guidewire Cloud certification.
• Experience supporting Guidewire Cloud implementations or modernization initiatives.
• Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, cloud-based architectures, and microservices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
