Job Title : Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer (ACE Certified)Position Overview Join a team focused on configuring, enhancing, and supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter in a cloud-based environment. This role combines hands-on configuration, integration, production support, and technical leadership while working across the full software development lifecycle.
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities - Configure and develop solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Support integration between PolicyCenter and BillingCenter applications.
- Develop, maintain, and provide production support for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Work with Guidewire Cloud and cloud integration mechanisms where applicable.
- Develop and support SOAP/RESTful web services, messaging, XML, XSD, and plugins.
- Create SQL queries for application support and development activities.
- Participate in Agile delivery, code release management, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
- Use GitHub or TortoiseSVN, Jenkins, JIRA, and Azure DevOps during development and maintenance.
- Contribute to estimation, test planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation, and SDLC activities.
- Lead development efforts while coaching and mentoring team members.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- Valid Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration.
- Mandatory experience with Guidewire SBTs.
- Extensive expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration.
- Knowledge of PolicyCenter and BillingCenter integration.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud.
- Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development, production support, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of out-of-the-box PolicyCenter and BillingCenter features.
- Experience with GitHub or TortoiseSVN and Jenkins.
- Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience designing SQL queries.
- Experience working in Agile methodology and code release management.
- Experience with SOAP/RESTful web services, XML, XSD, messaging, and plugins.
- Understanding of CI/CD and the complete SDLC.
- Ability to lead development teams, mentor others, debug complex issues, and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications - Guidewire Cloud certification.
- Experience with Integration Gateway Apps, Cloud APIs, App Events, GwS3, and GwSQS.
- Property & Casualty insurance domain knowledge.
- Performance tuning and database experience.
- Knowledge of the Insurance Application Architecture (IAA) model.
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
