Job Summary Job Title: Guidewire Developer (Policy & Billing Center ) Location: Greenvillecity, SC Years of Experience: 7-10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Developer with extensive experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) Commercial Lines domain, specifically with a strong focus on Guidewire Policy Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance our insurance operations. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Guidewire Policy Center.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Implement best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to P&C insurance and Guidewire.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.
- Contribute to project planning and estimation activities.
Mandatory Skills: - Strong expertise in P&C Commercial Lines insurance processes.
- Proficient in Guidewire Policy Center, including configuration and customization.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, SQL, and XML.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with other Guidewire products (Billing Center, Claim Center).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience in data migration and integration with third party systems.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on P&C insurance.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: Full-time: The pay range for this role is $115k - $120k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
