Full Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a Government Special Access Program Security Officer (GSSO) to join a team focused on test and evaluation of all software and hardware upgrades of the F-16, F-15E/F-15EX. This position supports the Operational Flight Program/Combined Test Force (OFP CTF) at Eglin AFB, FL. The successful candidate will provide security support to the Operational Flight Program Combined Task Force (OFP CTF). The OFP CTF is the United States Air Force's only dual-major command squadron under Air Force Material Command and Air Combat Command.
As a GSSO/SAP Security Specialist, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Conducting initial and annual security training for assigned personnel, annual self-inspections/reviews, and staff assistance visits.
- Indoctrinate new personnel; debrief personnel when access approvals removed.
- Provide annual / recurring security training to all briefed unit personnel.
- Serve as key adviser to unit leadership on PERSEC matters and/or SAP access requirements / qualifications / restrictions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security standard operating procedures outlining the security policies/guidance for conducting classified activities within special access program facilities (SAPF) / sensitive, compartmented information facilities.
- Identify, report, and document security incidents in accordance with DoWM 5205.07 Vol 1-4, the Intelligence Community Directives, and applicable service regulations / instructions for collateral requirements.
- Provide overall SAP security administration and management and performing duties outlined in the DoWM 5205-series regulations.
- Serve as a primary focal point within the USG facility.
- Maintain personnel security folders on all individuals.
- Maintain all facility / physical security accreditations for each assigned SAPF.
Security Clearance:
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience in a DoW, DoE or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DoW, DoE or other government security regulatory manual.
- Practical/working knowledge and application experience with the DoWM 5205.07 series.
- PERSEC experience including working with SAP programs, procedures, and polices.
- Knowledge of Air Force computer, personnel security, and facility directives.
