Growth Lead to help evangelize our vision and connect us with the right people across the AI ecosystem.
This is a high-trust, high-ownership role where you'll shape recruiting, culture, and community from the ground up. You'll work cross-functionally alongside engineering, marketing, and go-to-market teammates to tell our story, build world-class teams, and expand our network in the frontier AI space. What You'll Do- Tell our company's story compellingly - get candidates, researchers, and industry players genuinely excited about our mission through worldbuilding and narrative.
- Find, engage, and build relationships with candidates, AI/ML engineers, RL researchers, and other key figures in the AI ecosystem.
- Define company culture and values, then apply them to candidate screening and new-hire onboarding processes.
- Own end-to-end recruiting in partnership with the Chief of Staff - building and optimizing recruiting systems, tooling, and automated workflows.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Events function to host and represent the company at community and industry events, and to create compelling content.
- Work with Go-to-Market engineers to identify introduction pathways and connection strategies into high-priority leads and partners.
What We're Looking ForRequired- Genuine excitement about frontier AI models and the drive to evangelize a bold technical vision.
- Demonstrated experience finding and connecting with people - whether through recruiting, business development, community building, or a similar function.
- Strong interpersonal skills: articulate, extraverted, and skilled at reading people and rooms.
- Experience operating independently at an early-stage startup in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Ability to understand technical products well enough to explain them clearly and accurately to a range of audiences.
Nice to Have- Existing network within the RL research, RL engineering, or broader startup communities.
- A clear point of view on how great technical companies build and communicate their story.
- Prior experience in recruiting, community management, or content creation at a startup.
- A standout writing portfolio that demonstrates your storytelling ability.
- Desire to grow into adjacent functions such as marketing, events, or go-to-market over time.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 USD annually

LocationThis role is
on-site in San Francisco, CA. We're looking for candidates who are based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco - strong in-person presence and local networking are core to this role.
