If you answer yes, consider the Growth & Development team where we have a passion for people and helping them build rewarding careers.  The Growth & Development Leader will be responsible for developing and delivering learning solutions that align with business objectives and in support of employee growth within an R&D environment. The role requires an individual who is innovative, creative and can adapt to a fast-paced work environment.  The successful candidate will be skilled at performance consultation to bring learning solutions forward including non-traditional or non-training solutions, with prior experience in R&D.  A primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of systems-related learning solutions.  The ability to translate business needs into solutions that bridge skill gaps and grow capabilities will be key for building trusted relationships.  The right candidate will be proactive, articulate, efficient, organized, detail oriented, and supportive of emerging needs of the team.

The Opportunity:

  • Performance consultation with internal clients to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted learning or non-training solutions. 

  • Design, build, and deliver engaging, multi-modal learning experiences (instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced) anchored in adult learning principles. 

  • Develop dynamic systems training assets including digital media, interactive graphics, and elearning  using modern authoring software and AI. 

  • Project manage learning solutions by setting timelines, coordinating review cycles, evaluation, sustaining and documentation. 

  • Establish and analyze program metrics to report on learning impact and inform continuous program improvement. 

  • Facilitate energetic, interactive in-person and virtual development sessions across a variety of topics. 

  • Collaborate with clients and SMEs to align expectations, timelines, and budgets for clear, measurable outcomes. 

  • Support key digital learning management systems and platform logistics to ensure smooth, accessible learning delivery. 

  • Partner with other team members to manage end-to-end learning solutions & logistics.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. 

  • You bring 5+ years of instructional design experience across multiple learning modalities, ideally within a biopharmaceutical , in particular in Clinical Development/adjacent (regulatory, data management, quality, etc.). 

  • You possess 3+ years of experience facilitating staff development programs with an energetic, inclusive approach. 

  • You are skilled with authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, AI design software, or similar tools) to build high-quality digital learning solutions. 

  • You excel at active listening, stakeholder management, and translating complex technical needs into clear, engaging learning assets. 

Onsite presence on our South San Francisco campus is expected for at least 3 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays required).

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $103,200 - $191,600.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
