Full Job Description
Epson is seeking a Group Product Manager, Subscription Programs to lead a subscription program management team to achieve business line objectives, successful customer lifecycle management, developing business plans, acquisition strategies, retention strategies, marketing plans, pricing strategies, and program roadmaps, ensuring that products and programs are successfully launched, participating in the identification of market opportunities and development of offerings and business models to capitalize on them, and serving as the internal and external spokesperson for the business lines.

This is an opportunity for a strategic, customer-focused leader who can balance long-term vision with operational execution and use customer, market, and financial insights to continuously improve the subscription experience.

This position is based out of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA, with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

What You Will Be Doing:

Strategy
  • Manages overall strategy, execution, and end-to-end customer experience for Epson's direct-to-consumer print subscription program.
  • Responsible for business performance, including subscriber growth, retention, revenue, profitability, customer experience and operating performance.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of the market, competition and industry best practices based on a synthesis of appropriate data, including primary and secondary market research, customer feedback, sales and market data, product evaluations, and industry network.


Program Management and Execution
  • Manages program roadmap, timelines, dependencies, risks, launch readiness, stakeholder alignment, and operating cadence.
  • Identifies, develops and implements opportunities to improve program offerings, customer value, operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Leads development of business plans, forecasts, program objectives, critical success factors, and key performance indicators.
  • Provides recommendations and business case proposals for new subscription initiatives, program enhancements, and expansion opportunities.
  • Establishes and oversees structured processes for program launches, readiness reviews, issue tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Collaborates with Consumer Printer Product Management leadership on portfolio roadmap, product offerings, value proposition, advertising strategies, and channel programs.


Customer Experience and Lifecycle
  • Manages the team responsible for overall customer experience and customer lifecycle management
  • Ensures the subscription experience is designed and managed across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Oversees BPO relationships managing customer accounts, billing inquiries, device issues, technical support, consumables delivery, subscription changes, cancellations and collection strategies.


What You Will Bring:
  • 8-12 years of product management, subscription program management, business management, or related experience
  • 3+ years of consumer subscription program management experience highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing subscription, recurring revenue, or direct-to-consumer business strategies
  • Experience managing the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and churn reduction
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing revenue, profitability, forecasts, pricing, and key performance indicators
  • Experience developing business cases, program roadmaps, and strategies for new offerings or program enhancements
  • Strong understanding of customer experience and the ability to translate customer and market insights into business recommendations
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and lead complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience working with external vendors, service providers, or BPO partners preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional and global environments highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $187,052 and $228,620. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
