This job is responsible for managing one or more major operations segments for a site, region, or product line within the bank's internal operations. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems related to product lines, ensuring compliance with policies, and identifying opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency. Job expectations include supervising day-to-day activities of employees such as executing transactions.

The role is responsible for overseeing the global markets onboarding team supporting institutional and hedge fund clients covering a broad range of asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Currencies and Commodities. The successful candidate will serve as a client advocate working closely with sales, product, credit, legal, AML, compliance, client service and other operations teams to manage the end-to-end onboarding experience, drive operational efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction. This role requires a balance of relationship management, regulatory awareness, technology adoption, and data-driven decision-making to ensure a best-in-class client experience. This role also requires knowledge for capacity management, overseeing technology and funded initiative roadmap and navigating KPIs for clients, front line unit as well as senior leadership

Responsibilities:

This role will require experience in people management as well as client management. Oversight of pipeline health and throughput. Oversight of capacity management. Engagement with FLU, GMO leadership, GM Tech as well as vendors. Responsibilities will include collaborating with our legal team and clients to ensure documentation is executed, AML/KYC is satisfactory and all Operational setups are completed to ensure clients are good to settle. Also navigation of any post go live issues with accountability and urgency.
  • Forecasts and manages staffing levels and capacities, prioritizes employee development by providing effective coaching, and shares constructive feedback to drive Operational Excellence
  • Applies knowledge of the end-to-end processes and ensures adherence to bank and regulatory policy and procedures when making decisions that impact various operations and product lines
  • Develops and analyzes procedures to enhance unit and/or product-related activities and oversees budget and expense management, reporting, and forecasting for designated areas
  • Evaluates efficiencies and identifies areas of improvement and growth to the overall process, identifying data, metrics, and key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness
  • Aligns bank priorities and strategies to employee metrics and goals, evaluates employee progress, and strives to recognize, encourage, and improve team performance to support an inclusive work environment

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of management experience in financial services
  • 5+ years of onboarding experience (asset managers, hedge funds, or other client types)
  • Strong understanding of institutional client needs, market structure, and regulatory considerations within Global Markets.
  • Working knowledge of AML / KYC and Regulatory requirements impacting client onboarding for derivatives and securities (e.g. Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, EMIR etc.).
  • Commercially minded with strong problem solving, relationship management and communication skills with ability to present to an audience.
  • Ability to collaborate across sales, product, client service and other internal teams to drive results.

Pay range

$104,000.00 - $166,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
