Overview

As a Group Art Supervisor at CoLab, you will play a critical leadership role in guiding and inspiring a team of versatile designers. You will oversee the conceptualization and execution of creative projects, ensuring they align with our client's goals and maintain the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with account managers, strategy teams, and clients to drive innovative and visually compelling campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Development: Work together with copywriters, art directors, and account teams to provide creative, strategically sound solutions for client, in-house, and new business needs, fostering a team-oriented environment.


  • Project Ownership: Own projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is executed to the highest standard and aligned with client objectives.


  • Independent Creation: Write and oversee the creation of promotional materials independently, ensuring creative consistency and strategic alignment.


  • Innovation Focus: Consistently seek out and develop new, compelling presentation methods and creative approaches to enhance engagement and effectiveness.


  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and direct art directors and junior art directors, providing constructive feedback and guidance to cultivate their professional growth.


  • Clear Communication: Clearly communicate information and direction to other art directors, suppliers, freelancers, and editorial staff, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed.


  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in client meetings and presentations, confidently conveying creative concepts and strategies.


  • Research Involvement: Attend and contribute insights during market research sessions to understand consumer behavior and industry trends, influencing creative direction.


  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the copy, editorial, and project management departments to ensure that projects are completed according to deadlines, maintaining seamless communication and cooperation.


  • Effective Presentation: Present work in an organized and engaging manner, highlighting key creative elements and strategic rationale, to both internal teams and clients.


Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in Medical Communications or other Medical Marketing sectors, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry and its unique demands.


  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts, or a related scientific field preferred, providing a strong foundation for creative and critical thinking.


  • Demonstrated proficiency in Macintosh hardware, Adobe Creative Suite (CS6), Illustrator, Photoshop, and various presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi), enabling the creation of high-quality, compelling presentations and designs.


  • A proven track record of creative ability and sound judgment, evidenced by successful client interactions and a portfolio of impactful work.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, MIS, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


  • Proven leadership in a senior operations role with a track record for driving growth and excellence.


  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience leading diverse teams.


  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and operational resources efficiently.


  • Skilled in employing technology and innovation to improve operational processes.

Compensation Range: USD $106,780.00 - USD $170,937.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
