Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Ground Systems Fire Control & Communications Test Engineer to join our team! In this role you will work as a technical staff member of the GFCC team, providing strategic planning and oversight for GFCC development and cybersecurity test events to bridge between system requirements, engineering design, and operational deployment.
What You'll Be Doing:- Assist the GFCC Product Manager, GFCC Chief Engineer, and GFCC Product Leads to ensure the overarching test framework proves a GFCC product is mission-capable, resilient, and compliant with product requirements and missile defense system standards.
- Assess the overarching strategy for GFCC developmental testing and ensure test plans are in compliance with the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
- Ensure cybersecurity vulnerability testing and assessment is integrated into developmental and operational phases.
- Coordinate with the government stakeholders and GMD development contractor to establish and maintain key performance parameters (KPP) and key system attributes (KSA) verification methodologies.
- Identify test-related program risks (e.g., test venue and system under test (SUT) availability) and develop/facilitate mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate government-furnished equipment and test venue scheduling.
- Provide inputs to test budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Participate in GFCC test events (Pacing Benchmark (PBM), hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), Initial Qualification Tests (IQT), Final Qualification Tests (FQT), Ground Tests, Flight Tests, cybersecurity tests). Ensure data collection systems are calibrated and capturing critical mission metrics. Assist the GFCC team in analyzing test results and system logs to identify systemic failures and/or isolated anomalies. Develop quick-look reports, system performance evaluations, and defect & anomaly reports.
- Assist GFCC in the preparation, execution, and follow-up for program management reviews, system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test readiness reviews, and test and acceptance events.
- Develop and present technical reports, white papers, and briefings to support Government decision-making at Engineering Review Boards (ERB) and other stakeholder discussions.
- Travel as required (estimated 20%).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in missile defense system test planning/ conduct/ analysis/ reporting is required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- An active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Direct experience in digital engineering/DevSecOps development projects is desired.
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
