Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb Launcher System IPT Leader
Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb Launcher System IPT Leader directs the GLSDB Launch Pod System IPT, the Launcher System And Integration IPT, the Fire Control Station (FCS) IPT and coordinate with Saab on development, integration and production of the GLSDB components into the Boeing/Saab Launcher. The IPR leader will also coordinate with SDB Air Vehicle Team and Production Teams to ensure GLSDB GBU-39/B configuration evolves with the air launched SDB. This includes request for design support and monitoring production of the GLSDB configuration of the GBU-39/B. The IPT leader will ensure timely delivery of the FCS to Saab and the FCS components to Argon.
Position Responsibilities:
- Owns technical integration, cost, schedule, first-time quality, and delivery of launch systems scope of work.
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives working with our deployed Engineering capabilities and Functions.
- Manages and drives performance.
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in St Charles, MO.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start isrequired.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a Leadership Role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management or formal management experience) OR completion of the internal Boeing course 3Exploring Leadership4
- Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
- 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
- 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Direct Attack Weapons and/or Cruise Missile Systems
- Active U.S. Secret (or higher) Clearance
- Experience working directly with suppliers
- Prior Active-Duty Military experience
