Position Summary

The Post Award Administrator serves as the operational backbone for sponsored project administration within the School of Global Public Health (GPH). This position exists to drive the central coordination, tracking, and administrative execution of post-award lifecycles across a complex portfolio of grants and subawards. By actively managing submission timelines, subaward processing, procurement workflows, and sponsor reporting logistics, the Administrator ensures full compliance with NYU and sponsor guidelines while keeping project deliverables strictly on schedule. Operating as a key liaison among faculty, departmental teams, subrecipient institutions, and central university offices, this role streamlines day-to-day administrative operations. By managing non-financial compliance workflows, subaward setups, and Concur transaction tracking, the Administrator creates vital operational capacity-enabling Senior Post-Award Analysts to concentrate on high-level financial strategy, complex forecasting, and strategic faculty consulting.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or other analytical discipline.

Required Experience:
2+ years Quantitative analytical experience, preferably in finance or accounting; experience working with post-award grants management including NIH and other federal or international grants.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a college or university setting.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to understand management requirements and broader processes and to frame the result of research and financial analysis in a clear and concise fashion. Strong quantitative and modeling skills Familiarity and ability to use databases, workflow systems, and presentation and standard query tool software. Demonstrated proficiency with intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Word and Excel Google Apps Proficient in the creation and delivery of influential presentations, delivered to an external, senior audience. Ability to understand management requirements and broader processes and to frame the result of research and financial analysis in a clear and concise fashion Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with Peoplesync, UDW+,Cayuse, i-Buy, WorkDay Concur.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $84,700.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
