About the Position:

An ideal candidate for the Grant Central Coordinator position in DRS's Integrated Grants practice will have a background in computer science combined with experience in software sales or customer success, and a demonstrated ability to manage SaaS platform implementations from onboarding through ongoing support. The Associate Consultant will be responsible for selling Grant Central licenses to state and local government, nonprofit, and higher education clients, implementing the platform with new clients, and maintaining platform performance and configurations on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new license sales opportunities for Grant Central across target markets, including state and local government, nonprofits, and higher education
  • Drive business development through prospect outreach, industry conferences, partner referrals, and collaboration with DRS practice leaders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate and execute license agreements with new and existing clients
  • Manage the full client onboarding process, including portal configuration, data setup, and user training
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during and after implementation, ensuring a smooth transition to active platform use
  • Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting, responding to client inquiries and resolving platform issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with the platform vendor on bug reports, enhancement requests, and system updates
  • Maintain platform configurations and client account settings to ensure accurate, up-to-date functionality
  • Monitor client engagement and adoption; proactively identify accounts at risk and develop retention strategies
  • Cultivate and manage ongoing relationships with client contacts to support license renewals and expansion opportunities
  • Monitor and report on sales activity, implementation milestones, and platform performance metrics
  • Engage in performance management activities, including goal setting and feedback sessions


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SaaS implementation, software sales, customer success, or a related role
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline required
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude for configuring and supporting SaaS platforms, including the ability to troubleshoot user and system issues independently
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including product demonstrations and contract negotiation
  • Experience onboarding clients onto SaaS platforms, including configuration, training, and post-launch support
  • Strong understanding of client relationship management and customer success principles
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and comfort working across multiple software platforms simultaneously
  • Familiarity with grant funding programs, grant management processes, or the public sector and nonprofit markets is a plus
  • High energy style, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to complex client environments and situations
  • Expert written communication skills, self-directed with preparation of client-ready documents and presentations
  • Articulate, persuasive communicator who is adept at handling a variety of audiences, including ability to adapt style to audience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team


Work Location:

This position is a remote work experience with travel required for client onboarding, business development, and industry events, as the role dictates.

Salary Transparency:

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $75,000-$110,000 with a discretionary bonus and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
