Full Job Description
This role supports the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract and currently has an opening for a GovSlack Administrator. The CloudOne program is seeking a GovSlack Administrator that will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining an organization's GovSlack instance. Unlike standard commercial Slack admins, a GovSlack Admin must operate within a highly secure AWS GovCloud environment and strictly enforce rigorous government compliance standards.

Location: This position will be onsite. This position is located in Hanscom, MA, or Montgomery, AL.

Requirements

The CloudOne program is seeking a GovSlack Administrator that will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining an organization's GovSlack instance. Unlike standard commercial Slack admins, a GovSlack Admin must operate within a highly secure AWS GovCloud environment and strictly enforce rigorous government compliance standards.
• Compliance Management: Maintain the workspace in alignment with FedRAMP High, DoD Impact Level 4 (IL4), and ITAR control requirements.
• Access & Identity Control: Manage granular user access privileges and permissions at scale via Slack's enterprise-grade administration dashboard.
• Governance & Data Retention: Implement and enforce strict data-loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery protocols, legal holds, and data retention policies in tandem with legal and IT departments.
• Secure External Collaboration: Oversee Slack Connect to allow secure communications and file sharing with authorized external government contractors and agencies.
• Workspace Optimization: Design channel structures, manage workspace lifecycle settings, optimize mobile device management (MDM) endpoint policies, and establish workflows to maximize team productivity.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience administering Slack at an enterprise level, with a minimum of 1 year directly managing a GovSlack or government cloud platform (e.g., Salesforce Government Cloud, Box for Government).
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• IAT Level II Certification
• Experience designing custom dashboards, filters, and JQL queries.
• Experience performing system backups, audits, re-indexes, and documenting SOPs.
• Experience performing Atlassian installations, upgrades, migrations, and environment consolidations.
• Experience integrating Atlassian tools with AWS environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills, including the ability to translate highly technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting agile delivery environments (Agile, SAFe).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting large federal programs and advising government stakeholders on Atlassian best practices.
• Experience monitoring Atlassian infrastructure hosted on AWS.
• Experience developing documentation, training content, and architecture diagrams for enterprise users.
• Experience with Active Directory administration.
