Job Description:

The L3Harris Space and Mission Systems (SMS) Government Compliance team is seeking a Senior Associate that will support compliance activities and be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial analysis, audit support/lead, and other special projects within the Government Compliance organization. This position will interface with local and segment level functions including but not limited to: Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers.

Essential Functions:
• Support the preparation of the Annual Final Incurred Cost Proposal, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and Disclosure Statement
• Facilitate various government audits and reviews with DCAA/DCMA or other government regulatory agencies including audit activities related to: Ledger Scrubs, monitoring Cost Transfers, Final Incurred Cost Proposals, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, Cost Accounting Standards, Business Systems, and Mandatory Annual Audit Requirements (i.e. MAAR 6 & MAAR 13)
• Assist with ad hoc requests/analysis and special projects regarding compliance issues as needed
• Create and maintain documentation related to audit procedures
• Maintain compliance-related training, as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:
• 2+ years experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft office (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with PeopleSoft ERP, with ability to create queries
• Excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail with the ability to effectively summarize analyses, where appropriate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $63,000-$117,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $55,000-$102,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
