Position Summary

The Governance & Process Manager is responsible for enabling, maintaining, and continuously improving the governance framework, operating cadence, and transformation processes required to support disciplined execution of enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role serves as a central partner and orchestration point between the Full Potential Office (FPO), workstream leaders, finance teams, initiative owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent execution, clear accountability, effective communication, and adherence to transformation standards.

The Governance & Process Manager acts as the steward of transformation ways of working, ensuring all teams follow established governance, utilize approved tools and methodologies, surface, structure, and facilitate resolution of cross-functional issues, and maintain alignment against transformation objectives. This individual will also lead onboarding and capability-building efforts to rapidly integrate new resources into the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation Governance & Operating Cadence
  • Orchestrate and continuously improve the transformation governance model, including meeting structures, decision-making forums, escalation paths, stage gates, and operating rhythms in alignment with FPO leadership.
  • Structure, track, and facilitate escalation and resolution of governance-related issues, process gaps, and open actions across workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Document, clarify, and operationalize roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and accountability mechanisms throughout the transformation.
  • Monitor compliance with transformation governance standards, identify gaps and drive corrective actions when processes are not followed.
  • Partner with workstream leaders to ensure issues, decisions, risks, and dependencies are escalated and resolved appropriately.
  • Drive consistency of governance practices across current and future workstreams.
  • Ensure governance forums are decision-ready by clarifying objectives, required inputs, pre-reads, open decisions, escalation topics, and expected outcomes.

Process Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as the primary owner of transformation processes, playbooks, templates, standards, and ways of working.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps across workstreams and lead coordinate process improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain documented procedures that support execution discipline and organizational consistency.
  • Drive continuous improvement of transformation tools, reporting processes, governance structures, and operating mechanisms.
  • Support initiative lifecycle governance adherence through stage-gate approval, execution tracking, value realization, and closure.

Communication & Change Enablement
  • Develop clear, concise, and executive-level communications regarding governance updates, new processes, meeting cadences, policy changes, and transformation expectations.
  • Create communication materials that support adoption of transformation methodologies and organizational alignment.
  • Partner with Change Management and Communications teams to support awareness and engagement of transformation across the organization.
  • Support transformation communications and maintain the overall transformation narrative, celebrating successes while reinforcing accountability and execution discipline

Executive Reporting & Presentation Development
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and governance updates for senior leadership, Steering Committees, and transformation reviews.
  • Consolidate updates across workstreams into a clear and actionable view of transformation progress.
  • Create materials that effectively communicate risks, opportunities, performance trends, decision requirements, and value delivery.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc transformation reviews
  • Maintain decision logs, action trackers, risk and issue summaries, and follow-up mechanisms to ensure governance discussions translate into clear ownership and execution.

Finance Partnership & Value Governance
  • Work closely with Finance partners to ensure alignment between initiative execution, milestone achievement, and financial value realization.
  • Support governance processes related to benefits tracking, business cases, value reporting, and transformation targets.
  • Ensure financial impacts are incorporated into governance reviews, executive updates, and performance discussions.
  • Drive visibility and accountability around realization of transformation value.

Training, Onboarding & Capability Building
  • Lead onboarding and training for new transformation team members, workstream leaders, initiative owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training materials covering governance, transformation methodology, tools, reporting requirements, and operating cadence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on transformation processes and ways of working.
  • Maintain a repository of training resources, playbooks, best practices, and standards.

Tool Adoption & Transformation Compliance
  • Ensure all teams use approved systems, templates, and reporting processes consistently.
  • Monitor data quality, reporting adherence, milestone management, and governance compliance.
  • Provide coaching and support to ensure successful adoption of transformation tools and methodologies.
