Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Governance and Events Specialist to support our customer onsite in Bethesda, Maryland. Responsibilities include:

  • Supports scheduling, coordinating, preparing, and executing meetings and events on and off site, including international partners and international locations.  
  • Coordinates audio/video and facility support delivers day-of support for meetings on-site and coordinates additional support as necessary.  
  • Prepares and coordinates slides and other materials to support meetings and events; processes visit requests.  
  • Performs close-out activities including collecting actions and disseminating meeting minutes.  
  • Executive Secretariat of the Council to support and coordinate the functions and business of the Council.   
  • Attends meetings as requested, records, types, and distribute meeting minutes to stakeholders.  
  • Creates and maintains databases as needed.  
  • Ensures that office support is available on a timely basis  
  • Ensures understanding and compliance with established policies and guides.  
  • Due to the Partner's time zone, the region's flexibility around starts, and finish times is essential 
Qualifications

  • Experience in all aspects of facilitating successful large Government meetings 
Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
