Job SummaryThe Golang Back-end Developer will join the HashiVault squad to design and implement new features, tooling, and automations supporting cybersecurity controls. This role contributes to improving resiliency, reliability, and user experience across global teams in North America, Europe, and India. The developer will foster a culture of ownership and independence while delivering secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop features for security controls.
- Implement tooling and AI agents for vulnerability analysis and cyber resiliency.
- Perform DevOps tasks including service delivery and automation.
- Develop testing frameworks and suites.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
- Collaborate with squad and stakeholders to enhance services through automation and observability.
- Enforce architectural standards and usability design principles.
- Develop integrations and onboard new tools to support business needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design discussions, and code reviews.
- Deliver knowledge sharing through documentation and presentations.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of backend/full-stack Golang development, including REST APIs and microservices.
- 2+ years of Kubernetes experience, including Helm.
- 2+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP services.
- Solid skills in AI-enhanced software design and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with IBM HashiCorp products (Vault, Terraform).
- Experience with AI agent development (MCP, A2A, Vector DBs).
- Knowledge of retry patterns, circuit breakers, idempotency, service discovery, API gateways.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline technologies (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.
- Knowledge of reliability best practices (SLOs, incident response, observability engineering).
- Cybersecurity expertise in encryption, secret management, CVE remediation, authentication/authorization, and PKI.
Certifications- Relevant cloud, DevOps, or cybersecurity certifications (preferred).
