Global Deal Desk ManagerPosition OverviewThe Deal Desk Manager is a critical member of the Sales Operations team, responsible for executing the full spectrum of sales support activities that enable the Business Development organization to move faster and close more deals. This Associate will field incoming RFIs and questionnaires, craft compelling and compliant proposals, develop pricing analyses, coordinate sales decks and materials, and manage the operational flow of deals from initial opportunity through contract execution. This role demands excellence in project management, writing, and quality assurance, with a passion for enabling the BD team and delighting clients with professional, timely deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:RFI & Questionnaire Response- Receive, review, and manage all incoming RFIs and questionnaires from prospective and existing clients
- Develop clear, accurate, and persuasive written responses that position Gen II Fund Services' capabilities and differentiators
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Finance) to ensure responses are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company standards
- Ensure all submissions meet quality and deadline requirements; escalate issues to the Deal Desk Lead as needed
Proposal Development & Sales Materials- Draft, assemble, and finalize proposals, including services description, pricing, fees, and terms tailored to client needs
- Develop and customize sales decks, executive summaries, and supporting collateral for presentations
- Translate complex fund administration services into clear, client-facing language that resonates with prospects
- Proactively suggest enhancements to materials based on market feedback and competitive intelligence
Pricing Analysis & Deal Economics- Support the development of pricing models and fee calculations based on fund size, complexity, and service scope
- Analyze deal economics and identify pricing strategies to maximize revenue while remaining competitive
- Collaborate with Finance and BD on pricing adjustments, discounts, and deal structures
Project Management & Workflow Coordination- Manage multiple concurrent deals across the sales cycle, ensuring all deliverables are on track and deadlines are met
- Create and maintain deal timelines, checklists, and status dashboards to keep stakeholders informed
- Serve as the central point of contact for deal logistics, coordinating between BD, Legal, Operations, and Compliance
- Flag risks, dependencies, and blockers early; proactively problem-solve to keep deals moving
Quality Assurance & Process Compliance- Perform detailed QA reviews on all client-facing materials: proposals, decks, responses, and contracts before submission
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, compliance, branding consistency, and professional presentation
- Document QA findings, track corrections, and ensure feedback is incorporated before delivery
- Support the continuous improvement of Deal Desk templates, checklists, and best practices
CRM & Deal Data Management- Maintain accurate and complete deal records in Salesforce, including opportunity details, proposal status, and timeline information
- Update deal status, competitive intelligence, and win/loss information to support pipeline visibility and forecasting
- Ensure timely and organized documentation of all deal-related communications and materials
Sales Enablement & Knowledge Support- Contribute to building and maintaining the Deal Desk knowledge library: winning response templates, objection handling guides, competitive intelligence, and pricing precedents
- Document lessons learned from closed deals and provide input to the Deal Desk Lead on content improvements
- Support training and enablement activities for the broader BD team
Qualifications:- 5+ years in deal desk, sales operations, proposal management, bid management, or related sales support roles.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent RFIs, proposals, and sales cycle deliverables
- Background in financial services, fund administration, or professional services strongly preferred
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and proposal management or document automation tools (Loopio, RFPIO, Responsive, or similar) is a significant plus

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with modern sales tech stack
- Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for quality assurance; comfortable catching errors others might miss
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and manage timelines across multiple stakeholders
- Clear communication and comfortable presenting findings or updates to senior stakeholders

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
