Go-To-Market StrategyAssistant Vice President, Innovation & Integrated Solutions, Health Solutions

This is a remote role with the flexibility to work virtually from home anywhere within the United States.

What the day will look like

As an Assistant Vice President for Go-to-Market Strategy within Aon's Health Solutions business, you will help bring new solutions and capabilities to market. This role sits within Aon Health Solutions' Innovation & Integrated Solutions practice (IIS), a team dedicated to helping employers address their most pressing workforce health, benefits, affordability, access, and wellbeing challenges.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the rollout and market activation of new and existing advisory services, solutions, and capabilities within IIS
  • Partner with IIIS subject matter experts to develop and refine value propositions, messaging, sales materials, pitch content, case studies, talk tracks, and client-facing collateral.
  • Build and maintain repeatable go-to-market playbooks that help colleagues understand what we offer, who it is for, why it matters, and how to bring it to clients.
  • Serve as a key connection point between IIS and regional market leaders, sales colleagues, client teams, and marketing.
  • Establish strong relationships and feedback loops between the external market and internal teams by capturing input from sales colleagues, clients, prospects, and business leaders to refine positioning and improve execution.
  • Supervise progress against go-to-market priorities, including market adoption, pipeline activity, client engagement, revenue opportunities, and other success measures.
  • Provide ongoing support for national growth initiatives, internal enablement, thought leadership activation, conference and forum preparation, and other commercial priorities that strengthen the visibility and impact of Health Solutions.
  • Support RFPs, finalist meetings, client and prospect meetings, and internal market discussions by helping develop a compelling story around Aon's expertise.

How this opportunity is different

This is an outstanding opportunity to help scale the commercial impact of Aon's Health Solutions business. The person assuming this position will help bring structure, focus, and execution rigor to high-priority growth initiatives across Innovation & Solutions coordination and the broader Health business.

The role combines strategy, growth, consulting, sales enablement, market activation, and client-facing storytelling. Rather than focusing on one product or client, the colleague will help align market demands with Aon's broader capabilities. This will make it easier for colleagues to bring the right solutions to employers.

Candidates should be comfortable with employer-facing scenarios and act as a strategic resource. They help scale go-to-market initiatives and support acquiring new clients. They also strengthen market engagement and translate Aon's capabilities into measurable growth opportunities. The role is built as a growth enabler-not simply a project support position.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Required experience and capabilities:
  • 5+ years proven experience in benefits consulting, commercial strategy, sales enablement, product marketing, business development, or a related professional services environment.
  • Experience developing or implementing go-to-market strategies for new services, solutions, products, partnerships, or advisory capabilities.
  • Strong business insight and capacity to connect market needs, client priorities, growth opportunities, and commercial strategy .
  • Experience supporting new business pursuits.
  • Ability to translate complex capabilities into clear, concise, and compelling messaging for senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, including comfort shaping executive-ready materials and speaking points.
  • Experience working across and influencing multiple stakeholders, including solution line leadership, sales leaders, marketing, subject matter experts, and regional client-facing colleagues and producers
  • Comfort using data, pipeline insights, whitespace analysis, and market feedback to identify growth opportunities and improve go-to-market execution.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and move priorities forward in a matrixed environment.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable working style with the ability to build trust across teams and influence without direct authority.

The ideal candidate will be:
  • Commercially minded and able to spot opportunities.
  • Clear and concise in how they communicate.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and bringing structure to evolving priorities.
  • Strong at building relationships across teams and leading by influence
  • Curious about market trends, client needs, and emerging solutions.
  • Confident enough to be client-facing, but collaborative enough to work behind the scenes to help others succeed.
  • Practical, action-oriented, and focused on turning strategy into measurable progress.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
