The project focuses on developing market data streaming capabilities for business units. The Golang Developer will join a team responsible for working on a defined backlog of work aimed at developing new functionality and enhancing existing applications. The project will involve Golang development, full stack Java development, Angular development, JavaScript development, and database development. The goal is to enhance existing applications and develop new functionality to meet the company's business goals. In addition to development, the following testing services are in scope:
§ Functional testing
§ Non-functional testing
§ User acceptance testing
§ Test automation
§ Component testing
§ Smoke testing
§ Regression testing
§ Integration testing
This position is a hybrid role with alternating weeks onsite and remote. This person can sit in one of the following locations: Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX
Compensation: $50.00/hr to $70.00/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Required Skills & Experience• 7+ Years of experience in developing Enterprise applications
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in Go
• Bachelors and/or master's in computer science or other related discipline
• Experience in designing and implementing real-time Market Data applications.
• Experience working with AWS and or any other public clouds like GCP/Azure (familiar with AWS components such as CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda)
• Experience in creating dashboards in Data Dog
• Experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripting
• Good understanding of SRE golden signals, and service level metrics
Good understanding of observability metrics and open standards
• Must be local to Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX and willing to go onsite M-F every other week.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Development Experience in Java, Python, Groovy, and Shell Scripting is a plus.
• Experience in CICD is a plus
