DESCRIPTION: (Including but not limited to)

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, operational performance, and financial success of Allied Power Group's CPI and Combustion departments. This position provides executive oversight of manufacturing operations, product portfolio management, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

KEY FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the CPI and Combustion business units, ensuring alignment with the company's goals, objectives, and financial targets.
  • Direct all repair/manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality, inventory, equipment, and resource utilization to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive profitability and operational excellence.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and employees by fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee product portfolio management, manufacturing capabilities, and operational strategies to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Leadership to improve operational performance, support new business opportunities, and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners while ensuring exceptional service, product quality, and contract performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing principles, process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, safety regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements while promoting a culture of safety.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance by analyzing key business metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead integration efforts, process standardization, and organizational initiatives that improve collaboration, scalability, and long-term business performance across both divisions.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of organizational objectives.

WORK QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of expertise in managing a portfolio of products in the Power Generation or Oil and Gas Industries.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth within a product portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, engineering, technical, and sales, to drive portfolio initiatives forward.
  • Strong Product Portfolio leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support and influence others to achieve results.

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of combustion operations is preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:
  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree
