Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• GM certification or equivalent manufacturer training preferred or required based on shop needs.
• Comfortable working with engine, electrical, brake, suspension, HVAC, and drivability systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs.
• Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic software, and technical repair information.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on various vehicles focusing on General Motors systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
• Complete repairs efficiently while upholding high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Utilize factory-level service information and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes.
• Clearly communicate findings, recommended repairs, and completion status to service advisors and team members.
• Document all work performed in accordance with shop and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized professional work area.
• Support team productivity and contribute positively to a customer-focused shop culture.
