Job Title:Global Trade Manager, Site LeadAs Global Trade Site Lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring sustained compliance, developing strategies with the GT organization to ensure export compliance with enhanced business processes and being the leader for GT related topics affecting Plant 22 and other parts of Engineering.
Global Trade Site Lead functions include, but are not limited to, maintaining a site presence, coordinating site GT Council, support site-wide communications, coordination between the GTPS teams, management of facility requirements and ensure program alignment across the site.This role reports to the Deputy Director for GTPS PWC Engineering.
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in
Mississauga, and performed exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like? - Implement measures to maintain a strong GT compliance environment in Plant 22 and other parts of Engineering.
- Provide strategies for how to effectively implement GT related projects and work with Senior Managers in Plant 22 and other areas of Engineering to sustain and enhance GT culture.
- Guide assigned parts of the GT Development/Escalation Focal network, with the intent to raise their level of compliance knowledge and the empowerment of all the business employees.
- Guide employees in assigned parts of Engineering (Plant 1 and 22) on GT requirements embedded in the business activities including topics such as classification, data marking, screening, authorizations, travel, internal safeguards, and transfers.
- Implement and deploy GT requirements/initiatives regarding the infrastructure and required enhancements (Training, Communication, Procedures, DT, Programs, CORE, Investigations, Corrective Actions, Self-Assessment, etc.) whether through development or modification of existing tools, standard work, etc.
- Influence/provide input on GT training to meet assigned organization needs. Work with GT Department Focal network to deliver GT training.
- Support/lead assignments and special projects as assigned by GT or core GT - ex. audits, investigations, authorizations, screening, special assignments, etc.
- Continually enhance and improve P&W's "Speak Up" culture and maintain a heightened awareness of the RTX Code of Ethics, acting with integrity at all times.
What you need to be successful? - Bachelor's degree (Business Management, Engineering, Legal, Operations Management, Drafting) with a minimum of 5 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Team player with good leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal daily supervision and to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Engineering and Global Trade procedures and processes.
- MS Office skills.
- CORE Apprentice.
Asset- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment would be an asset but is not required.

The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
