About the roleThe purpose of this role is to develop and deploy Global Asset Standards for Household Care & Germ Protection Processing Technology for common production equipment within the Reckitt group, across the Household Care & Germ Protection categories and all geographies. The Global Technology Engineer will provide technical leadership, expertise, and support for equipment and systems related to processing technology for liquids and gels manufacturing, and own standardisation of equipment and vendor pool to leverage cost, lead time, efficiency and best practices.
This is to support compliant, reliable, and efficient operation of processing equipment in line with regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, ATEX) and business objectives. The role requires the ability to work in a cross-functional matrix organisation, fostering a continuous improvement culture, with close collaboration with factories for effective implementation of equipment standards.
This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time!Your responsibilities- Equipment Standardisation Processes - Lead global standardization of Household Care & Germ Protection processing equipment by aligning equipment specifications, CAPEX purchasing standards, and preferred vendor networks across all regions.
- Engineering Equipment Standards - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve global equipment standards and URSs in partnership with OEMs, Procurement, and Technical teams to enhance safety, quality, performance, compliance, and reliability.
- Technical Expertise - Serve as the subject matter expert for Household Care & Germ Protection processing technologies, providing technical guidance while staying current on industry innovations and regulatory requirements.
- Project Delivery - Provide technical leadership on major CAPEX projects, including URS development, vendor selection, equipment acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), and project execution support across global sites.
- Compliance & Validation - Ensure processing systems meet hygienic design, GMP, and regulatory standards while supporting commissioning, validation, qualification, and equipment acceptance activities.
- Vendor Management - Manage strategic OEM relationships by monitoring supplier performance, equipment reliability, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Project Support - Act as the global "go-to" engineering expert, supporting sites with capital projects, supplier selection, technology upgrades, system integrations, and vendor collaboration.
The experience we're looking for- Proven experience driving equipment standardization across manufacturing sites, preferably in multi-site or global environments.
- Strong CAPEX project management expertise, including project prioritization, budgeting, performance monitoring, and execution.
- Deep technical knowledge of Household Care/Germ Protection processing technologies, including mixers, batching, CIP/Pigging, pumps, valves, powder handling, ATEX standards, and corrosive-material processing.
- Understanding of process utilities such as water, HVAC, steam/hot water, drainage, compressed air, power, and data networking systems.
- Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior engineering or project leadership role within the consumer goods or chemical industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience), proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD), and willingness to travel globally as required.

US pay transparencyThe base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
