Job title: Global Technical Services & Training Programs

Job Location: 45 Barbour Pond Drive, Wayne, NJ 07470. Employer will allow a hybrid work schedule.

Salary: $145,000 - $165,000

Job duties: Responsible for creating and delivering technical training for Cardiac Assist hardware (CAHW) products. This role ensures that service teams, regional trainers, and customers are properly trained to install, maintain, and support these products. The position works closely with engineering and product teams to develop training for both new and existing products and ensures all programs meet quality and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain technical training programs for Cardiac Assist hardware products. Deliver certification and recertification training to service teams, regional trainers, distributors, and customers. Evaluate and certify regional trainers to ensure consistent training quality. Audit regional training programs to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance. Work with R&D, engineering, and product teams to create training for new products and assist with technical support case investigations. Ensure all training materials follow company quality and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to service teams as needed. Review technical documents such as service bulletins, manuals, and change notices to keep training materials current. Track and document all training and certification activities. Provide reports and updates on training programs to management. Support investigations into complex product issues by collaborating with technical teams including complaint investigations.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, the foreign equivalent or related plus 5 years of expereince with medical equipment programs or related.

Requires skills and experience to involve:
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) using Cornerstone and manage technical certifications.
  • Familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS) and quality compliance tools used in regulated environments.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation, including service manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, Service Bulletins, Change Notices, and regulatory guidance.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical circulatory support systems and Cardiac Assist Hardware (CAHW), including setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of electromechanical medical devices, including hardware components, embedded systems, sensors, and diagnostic interfaces.
  • Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment including multimeters, calibration tools, device simulators, and system performance monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with firmware/software update procedures, configuration tools, and device data logging systems.
  • Understanding of global regulatory and quality standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, GMP, and CAPA processes.
  • Experience developing technical training materials using instructional design tools.
  • Experience documenting training completion, certification records, and audit materials to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with R&D teams using technical collaboration tools.
  • Hands-on experience operating, servicing, and supporting Cardiac Assist medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex hardware and system-level issues and translate technical findings into training content.
  • Experience certifying regional trainers and evaluating training delivery for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and instructional effectiveness.


Travel required one once per quarter domestic and international for training in EU countries, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Central Eastern Europe, Africa, Australia.
