Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a geographically dispersed procurement organization, providing direction and support to a team of 5 direct reports and 3 indirect reports while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Partner closely with client stakeholders and CBRE leadership to build credibility, influence decision-making, and drive alignment on strategic procurement initiatives across global regions.
  • Develop and implement a globally consistent procurement operating model that improves governance, standardization, scalability, and service delivery while accounting for regional business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, confidently presenting strategies, recommendations, and business cases that gain stakeholder buy-in and drive adoption.
  • Drive procurement transformation initiatives that enhance processes, supplier performance, operational efficiency, and overall value delivery to the client.
  • Build strong relationships across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, understanding the key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders necessary to successfully navigate a complex global organization.
  • Lead change management efforts by bringing internal teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders along the transformation journey through effective communication, partnership, and executive-level engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring procurement is viewed as a strategic enabler rather than a transactional function.
  • Apply a strong understanding of technology-industry environments, culture, and pace to effectively support client objectives and anticipate evolving business needs.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, governance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that support strategic procurement goals and drive measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 12+ years of progressive procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or related leadership experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Professional certifications such as C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. are preferred.
  • Proven experience leading global procurement organizations within complex, matrixed environments, including responsibility for geographically dispersed teams and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Deep understanding of global procurement operating models, with demonstrated success driving standardization, governance, and consistency across multiple regions, particularly EMEA, Americas, and APAC.
  • Experience supporting large technology organizations or enterprise accounts is strongly preferred. Familiarity with outsourced facilities management environments and service providers is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success leading procurement transformation initiatives, including driving stakeholder alignment, influencing change, and implementing new processes, governance frameworks, or operating models across large organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to confidently engage client leadership, internal executives, and senior stakeholders while navigating competing priorities and driving consensus.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and gain buy-in from diverse stakeholder groups, effectively leading teams and organizations through periods of change and transformation.
  • Experience developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, performance management, and talent development.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a track record of serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and representing procurement as a strategic business partner.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex business challenges, facilitate decision-making, and resolve difficult situations with diplomacy and confidence.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance business objectives, operational requirements, supplier partnerships, and client expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments requiring agility, executive judgment, and the ability to quickly assess situations, identify key stakeholders, and drive results.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global Senior Procurement Director position is $210,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Global Senior Procurement Director position is $220,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
