Full Job Description
We're Hiring: Global Quality Supply Chain Engineer

Location: Maple Grove, MN
Company: Peli BioThermal

What You'll Do:

You'll own and strengthen supplier quality practices across our global supply chain. From supplier qualification and audits to KPIs, corrective actions, risk assessments, and new product launches, you'll help ensure quality is built into our supply chain from the beginning.
  • Partner with SIOP and Purchasing teams to define supplier and supply chain quality requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans for materials and services supplied to Peli BioThermal.
  • Establish supplier quality KPIs and use performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and work directly with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct supplier qualification and surveillance audits, document findings, and drive corrective actions through verification and closure.
  • Define Critical-to-Quality characteristics for purchased materials and services.
  • Lead the global supplier qualification process and ensure requirements remain aligned with Peli BioThermal quality expectations.
  • Manage supplier quality issues impacting production, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of long-term solutions.
  • Represent Quality during the development of new supply chains for New Product Development and confirm supplier requirements during New Product Introduction.
  • Develop and maintain material and supplier risk assessments to identify and reduce supply chain risk.
  • Analyze quality data and apply risk management principles to strengthen quality systems and processes.
  • Develop and perform internal and external Quality Management System audits and lead related process improvements.
  • Support the development of QA/Lab Technicians and Inspectors through training and project assignments.
  • Support and manage calibration system compliance.

What We're Looking For
  • Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related technical background.
  • Experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or a related function.
  • Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve quality and performance issues.
  • Knowledge of supplier qualification, supplier audits, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and risk management.
  • Ability to analyze supplier and quality data and turn findings into clear actions.
  • Experience developing or managing supplier KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of quality planning, inspection requirements, and Critical-to-Quality characteristics.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, SIOP, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence teams and suppliers.
