Full Job Description
This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As Sr Global Product Line Management Specialist supporting Accessories, you will work with the Divisional Manager and other Product Merchant Managers to establish the vision, strategies, and seasonal concepts for a portion of the global apparel business.

This person will be responsible for introducing innovative, profitable, new products that will entice our target consumer and work to identify long-term trends and opportunities based on analysis of product, consumer, and competitive trends in the market. They will develop seasonal initiatives and line plans and work with the Divisional Merchandising Manager to construct long-term business plans and drive to achieve these plans. They will utilize market knowledge to provide clear product direction to the Design team and work cross-functionally with the product creation team to develop product lines, meet key dates, and achieve net sales, net margin, and corporate objectives.

  • Research, conceive, and create new and innovative product ideas that support Product initiatives - develop and manage these ideas through the product process from the conceptual stage through design, development, launch, and market rollout.
  • Execute merchandising strategies and seasonal line plans to build profitable assortments that meet internal margin goals.
  • Create an infrastructure for creating, managing, and communicating data.
  • Create and present seasonal product briefs that inspire design and development in the product process. Incorporate marketplace influences and consumer insights.
  • Understand target customers and shop retail stores to provide competitive analysis to enhance brand strategies and opportunities.

  • A strategic thinker who can drive new ideas and implement processes

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelor99s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of product development process
  • Experience with outdoor industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in retail math, best seller analysis, competitive landscape analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Office; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
