Job Description:

Join us as a Global Operations Supply Chain Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in driving optimized factory operations through supplier and supply chain solutions.

In this role, you will work within a team of engineering and supply chain problem solvers to identify and resolve module output or performance gaps across the factory to improve tool availability and overall output. Solutions will emerge from a disciplined data and model-based problem-solving approach to drive supplier engagement through personnel or various technical solution paths coordinated with the OEM suppliers.

With a focus on supplier dependent uptime, key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Driving improvement to factory manufacturing availability and collaboration across limiting toolsets including long tool down recovery
    • This will include problem definitions, roadmap building, and engagement/escalation with suppliers to resolve limiting module issues
  • Managing and driving quality issues related to supplier safety, quality, and site Material Quality Incident (MQI) closure performance
    • Scope may include chairing and leading 8D work with suppliers and modules to close on the root cause and future prevention plans
  • Establishing control standards and monitoring performance to ensure supply chain excellence and minimizing variability in quality standards and systems
  • Administering, establishing and enabling site based supplier personnel work to fulfill local contract agreements
  • Working with factory modules and factory leadership to improve cost structures, drive performance to contracts, and identify cost savings contracting opportunities across the functional areas within the local factory


Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience

OR
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience

OR
  • PhD in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience


Relevant experience includes one or more of the following:
  • Advanced manufacturing processes such as FMEA, SPC, PCSA, or 8D problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong technical proficiency in driving supplier accountability, developing quality standards, and implementing process improvements
  • Expertise in root cause analysis and KPI development for supply chain performance tracking
  • Data fluency for decision making utilizing current manufacturing system analysis tools, database queries, MS PBI, and data visualizations for the basis of taking tactical or strategic actions


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • PhD in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to manage suppliers and drive technology development partnerships
  • Intel factory operations or support group work focused on factory performance
  • Expertise in supply chain engineering and supplier management
  • Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and advanced packaging technologies
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, enabling success in ambiguous situations and delivery of impactful solutions
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and achieving results in complex environments
  • Commitment to fostering collaboration and building diverse teams that drive innovation and success

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,860.00-231,670.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
