About the job:

As the Global Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the global business strategy, marketing roadmap, and product innovation pipeline for Nouryon's Building business. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll identify new market opportunities, expand customer relationships, and drive strategic initiatives that fuel sustainable growth. This role plays a key part in shaping both short-term business performance and long-term success by bringing innovative products to market and ensuring the business remains competitive in a dynamic global landscape.

In your future role as a Global Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Lead the definition, development, and execution of the global marketing strategy for Nouryon's Building segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, co-suppliers, and key industry influencers to strengthen partnerships and grow market share.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to uncover insights that drive impactful marketing strategies and enhance customer engagement.
  • Identify and champion new product innovation opportunities, guiding projects through the stage-gate process from concept to successful market launch.
  • Establish, track, and report on key innovation performance metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain global value-based pricing strategies for both new and existing product portfolios.
  • Partner with the Global Marketing Communications Manager to develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans that support business objectives and increase brand awareness.


We believe you bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. An MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or product management within the building industry, ideally supporting the dry mortar, concrete, or glass markets.
  • Experience working for a building products manufacturer is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams and diverse cultures.
  • A proven track record of leadership and delivering business results in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience developing strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build credibility and earn the trust of commercial and sales organizations.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for identifying market opportunities, driving innovation, and delivering customer value.
