Full Job Description
Global HRBP, Procurement

This role serves as the Global HR Business Partner for Procurement, partnering closely with the Chief Procurement Officer and her direct reports to lead and support all HR initiatives, along with other ancillary functions. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor and change agent - combining strategic foresight with hands-on execution to build organizational capability, drive performance, and shape a high-engagement culture across a globally dispersed workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Leadership
  • Act as strategic HR Business Partner to senior leaders within a globally complex organization, translating business strategy into actionable people plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CPO and leadership team on organizational design, workforce structure, and change management.
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively bring HR insights and solutions to the leadership table, rather than solely responding to requests.
  • Influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively, bringing an external perspective on market trends, talent competition, and best practices

People Leadership & Culture
  • Coach and collaborate with managers to resolve business challenges with a workforce spread around the world.
  • Coach and partner with employees, leaders, and management teams on a day-to-day basis to embed a high-performance culture, focusing on leadership and driving accountability.
  • Act as a culture carrier, reinforcing company values and driving employee engagement initiatives grounded in survey data and feedback loops.

Organizational Development
  • Handle activities across the entire employee life cycle including performance and talent management, succession planning, and people development.
  • Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts to ensure the right structure, roles, and capabilities are in place to meet evolving business needs.
  • Work with strategic competencies and workforce planning to attract and retain the required capabilities and skills for the team.
  • Identify and develop high-potential talent, driving robust succession planning for critical roles.

HR Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Deliver Nouryon HR policies, processes, and practices, focusing on continuous improvement and improved execution.
  • Support the compensation and benefits agenda in line with our Total Rewards strategy.
  • Manage and lead defined projects to drive continuous improvement relating to our People strategy.
  • Leverage HR technology (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and enhance the employee experience.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) a plus.
  • At least 10 years' HR generalist experience, including working within a global organization.
  • Experience operating as a business partner for a dynamic, growing organization.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, building effective relationships with management and functions in an international environment.
  • Proven experience leading organizational change, restructuring, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in people data, analytics, and interpretation, with the ability to turn data into a compelling narrative.
  • Capability as a strategic thinker and consistent implementer - equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up sleeves to execute.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to commercial and operational goals.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and continuously evolving environment.
