As a Global Fund Services Valuation Services - Vice President you will drive strategic pricing platform change by leading projects and business analysis across pricing data, stakeholders, and delivery.

Job Description

You will join the Global Valuations Change team aligned to Security Services Operations (SSO), acting as a senior Project Manager with a joint Business Analyst remit supporting the strategic pricing platform. You will partner closely with Strategic Change, Operations, Technology teams, and a broad set of current and potential consumers of pricing reference data, using a hands-on approach to support the development and deployment of strategic firmwide pricing change. The team’s mission is to provide centralized pricing reference data and data services in a controlled, standardized manner to improve consistency and accuracy while reducing risk and total cost of data ownership.

Job Responsibilities

Pricing data analysis and adoption support

  • You will complete data analysis and reconciliation to understand and explain differences between legacy and strategic pricing systems, supporting stakeholder decision-making for pricing platform adoption.
  • You will provide data validation, analysis, and recommended solutions for clients.
  • You will analyze vendor and industry change notifications to confirm impacts to the Pricing Domain.

Delivery planning, prioritization, and execution

  • You will maintain a backlog of requests and facilitate prioritization to ensure resources are aligned to top priority requirements.
  • You will gather business requirements with operational partners and translate them to technology partners with appropriate documentation and workflows.

Stakeholder management, reporting, and risk control

  • You will provide frequent, clear, structured updates for LOB stakeholders and senior steering committee consumption.
  • You will design visually compelling KPIs to communicate progress and issues to audiences at varied levels.
  • You will identify, address, and resolve risks and issues impacting projects.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.

  • Strong business analysis skills with demonstrable experience working across multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong project management skills; organized and structured.
  • Proven past success contributing to technical and operational improvements in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of pricing across exchange traded assets and the evaluated pricing of fixed income assets.
  • Experience supporting application migrations from legacy to strategic platforms.
  • Experience working with external market data vendors.
  • Experience understanding and translating client needs into strategic solutions.
  • Highly experienced working within an Agile delivery framework and using the JIRA tool.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to quickly adjust messaging based on different audiences and agendas.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across multiple aspects of the organization at all levels.
  • Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with partners of all levels; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication with the ability to provide opinion and challenge as appropriate.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to succinctly communicate and collate information requirements.
  • Experience producing project reporting for management, stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty; flexibility with the ability to create clarity and consensus.
  • Ability to consistently deliver results with little direct supervision and good judgement on when to seek assistance or escalate.
  • Ability to balance and deliver upon multiple delivery requests while managing expectations.
  • System-level knowledge of JPMorganChase or a similar company, reviewing current tools used by Operations and creating requirements to streamline processes and reporting.
  • Strong PC skills (JIRA and Microsoft Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio).
  • Experience with applications such as Tableau, Alteryx, UiPath, and Qlikview
