Full Job Description
Citi is looking for an experienced Global Document Change Management Lead to assist in evolving a centralized, scalable framework that governs how operations manuals are created, updated, controlled, and retired across Wholesale Lending Operations worldwide. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of operations, governance, and cross-functional collaboration - ensuring that every change to an operations manual is properly controlled, reviewed, and published with precision. Your work will directly strengthen operational consistency, auditability, and process quality across a global lending business.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading the end-to-end Document Change Management Framework for Wholesale Lending Operations, ensuring all operations manual updates are subject to structured impact assessment, control establishment, and a defined review and approval process.
  • Partner with operations teams and stakeholders across loan processing functions to capture, document, and maintain operations manuals that are accurate, compliant, and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-implementation control activities for new or revised operations manuals, confirming that changes are effectively embedded at the operational level before and after go-live.
  • Streamline, consolidate, and standardize operations manuals globally, identifying opportunities to simplify content, improve usability, and eliminate duplication.
  • Assess training and communication requirements for each operations manual change request, working alongside relevant teams to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge needed to meet operational standards.
  • Track and publish all operations manual updates through the Documents Change Management Framework, maintaining an auditable record and ensuring timely availability to end users.
  • Lead and develop a team capable of managing a dynamic operations manual change environment, fostering agility, accountability, and consistent delivery quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in operations, change management, or document governance within the wholesale lending environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite, with experience using data to track, report, and manage operational activity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a sharp attention to detail and a structured approach to assessing operations manual impact.
  • Clear and confident communicator across all levels of an organization, with the interpersonal skills to align stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
  • Working knowledge of Confluence Cloud or comparable document management and collaboration platforms.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of operational processes and regulatory requirements within Wholesale Lending, including awareness of relevant corporate and lending policy frameworks.
  • Experience operating in a KPI- or metrics-driven environment, with a focus on achieving and exceeding defined operational standards.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior management and cross-functional business partners in a steering or advisory capacity.
  • Proven capability to navigate and deliver in environments where priorities shift frequently and rapid adaptation is essential.
  • Critical decision-making skills, including the ability to identify risks, escalate appropriately, and propose pragmatic solutions under time pressure.
