Full Job Description
Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Demand Planner to join our team and manage a strategically important portfolio within Process Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving an integrated planning process that encompasses analytics, collaboration, and active decision-making regarding forecasts and market trends. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of demand forecasts and aligning supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using advanced analytical techniques and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to gather insights and align on demand planning strategies
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and historical data to inform demand planning decisions
  • Actively participate in the Integrated Business Management (IBM) process, ensuring alignment between demand and supply plans
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present forecasts, assumptions, and recommendations
  • Monitor and analyze forecast performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Lead decision-making processes regarding inventory levels, production schedules, and supply chain strategies to meet customer demand
  • Foster a culture of execution and accountability within the planning team


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or other planning role

OR
  • High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or other planning role


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated experience with demand planning software and analytics tools
  • Strong sense of execution and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated project/change management experience
  • Ambition for growth to lead projects and teams


Pay Range for this position: $74,000 - $111,000

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
