Your Job

Join Molex as a Global Demand Planner and take ownership of the demand forecast for an assigned product portfolio. You will partner with sales, marketing, product management, finance, operations, and manufacturing teams across Molex to develop a reliable 24-month forecast. Your work will improve forecast accuracy and bias, support profitable growth, and enable the supply organization to meet customer demand while balancing service, inventory, and operational risk.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage a 24-month demand forecast for an assigned product portfolio
  • Develop mid and long-term forecasts using historical demand, customer and sales input, market trends, product lifecycle plans, and statistical forecasting methods
  • Assist in preparing recurring demand review discussions by presenting forecast changes, risks, opportunities, assumptions, and recommended actions to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner with sales, marketing, product management, finance, operations, and manufacturing teams to align assumptions and resolve forecast gaps
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, demand variability, and other key performance indicators; identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate and timely forecasts, assumptions, and planning parameters in systems such as Kinaxis Maestro and SAP
  • Identify demand spikes, supply constraints, and other business risks or opportunities, and clearly communicate their potential impact
  • Challenge unsupported assumptions, document decisions, and follow through on actions to strengthen accountability and forecast quality
  • Drive process improvements and data-based recommendations that improve forecast performance, customer service, inventory health, and business outcomes


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • Exposure or experience in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP/GSOP, inventory planning, business analytics, or a related supply chain function
  • Experience analyzing data to identify trends, explain variances, and support recommendations
  • Understanding of demand planning, forecasting, sales and operations planning, and product lifecycle concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge assumptions and present recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to independently manage priorities, adapt quickly, follow through on commitments, and drive results in a fast-paced global environment


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Previous demand planning or S&OP/GSOP experience in a global manufacturing environment or with comparable products
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, and forecasting or planning tools such as Maestro, Oracle, JDA, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of statistical forecasting methods, demand segmentation, forecast accuracy, and bias measurement
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional demand reviews and influencing decisions without direct authority
  • Ability to translate complex demand data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional partners and leadership


For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 - $95,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
